Welcome to Summertown High School!
It is an honor and privilege to serve as principal of a school and community that mean so much to me. As a proud graduate of Summertown High School, I understand the traditions, expectations, and sense of pride that come with being a Summertown Eagle.
At SHS, our goal is simple: provide every student with the opportunity to be successful in high school and prepared for whatever comes next. Whether that path leads to college, technical education, the military, or directly into the workforce, we want our students to leave Summertown High School with the knowledge, skills, confidence, and character needed to succeed.
Our success depends on more than academics. We want students to be involved, build positive relationships, develop leadership skills, and take pride in their school. Through academics, athletics, career and technical education, fine arts, clubs, and other activities, we strive to provide opportunities for every student to find a place where they can grow and succeed.
I am extremely proud of our teachers and staff and their commitment to our students. I am equally thankful for the tremendous support we receive from our parents, families, alumni, businesses, and the entire Summertown community. Our school is strongest when we work together.
As principal, I believe in being visible, accessible, and involved in the daily life of our school. I encourage our students to work hard, treat others with respect, make good decisions, get involved, and take advantage of the opportunities available to them.
Summertown High School has a proud past and an exciting future. We will continue to build upon our traditions while always looking for ways to improve and provide our students with the best possible high school experience.
Thank you for supporting Summertown High School and our students.
Once an Eagle, Always an Eagle!
